To make the most of your training, the GP Academy Accredited Apprentice combines classroom learning with professional experience. Apprentices will take seven weeklong classes over the course of seven months (one class each month), while working in the shop or field when they are not in the classroom.
The GP Academy Accredited Apprentice program is accredited by ApprenticeshipNC and the North Carolina Department of Labor. Its curriculum covers basic service tasks, electrical, powertrain, diesel engine, A/C, hydraulics, and soft skills classes, and apprentices will have the opportunity to work on equipment across multiple industries including construction, lift, power generation, and marine.
