Electrical/Electronics Troubleshooting – $1500 per participant
(24 hour/3 day course – Min 4 Participants/Max 8 Participants)
The CAT Electrical/Electronics Troubleshooting course is designed to help customer technicians and maintenance personnel develop the skills needed to diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues on Caterpillar equipment.
The focus will be on the following areas:
- Electrical and electronic system fundamentals
- Reading and interpreting CAT electrical schematics
- Proper use of multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Circuit testing and voltage drop analysis
- Sensors, switches, relays, and actuators
- ECM operation and diagnostic strategies
- Diagnostic and event codes
- Cat ET navigation and troubleshooting functions
- Systematic troubleshooting methods and best practices
*Lunch will be provided each day.
This course will be offered in the Fork Room at our 4807 Beryl Road location in Raleigh.
